 Upon placing an order, you will receive a system-generated confirmation email.  This email will contain a link which will allow you to check the status of your order at any time for relevant information and updates. 


Merchandise purchased from CA Modern Home may be returned for full refund, except *****non-stocked items, polycarbonate items (Kartell)  and upholstered furniture*****  within 48 hours after receiving your order.  Orders must be accompanied by an original receipt, in original condition, and in original packaging.  Orders for non-stocked products can be returned for *store credit or exchange only upon approval from management. Returns must be pre-authorized by calling 800.605.1859.  Pre-authorized returns may be subject to a 20-45% restocking fee depending on the item size and freight location.  

Non-stocked items, custom or special orders, lighting and polycarbonate items (Kartell)  and Upholstered furniture are not returnable. Returns must be properly packaged and shipped at the customer's expense, to:

Customers will be responsible for any damages incurred during the return of the shipment.  After CA Modern Home is in possession of the returned shipment, a refund for the purchase amount only will be processed. 

* Non-stocked items refer to items that are not stocked in our store inventory at the time of purchase and thus need to be ordered from a manufacturer.

* Refunds are not issued except in the case of defective merchandise we are unable to replace or send replacement parts.

* Store credit is valid for 1 year from the date of issue. After that, unused credit is forfeited.


Any purchase made is conditional on CA Modern Home accepting it.  Typographical errors, miscommunication and other technology glitches can result in items being offered at what appears to be deep discounts.  CA Modern Home is required by our vendors to follow their MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) guidelines. We reserve the right to cancel the sale and refund the funds paid for any items listed in error. 


Items must be canceled within 24 hours after placing your order. Please call 800.605.1859 or email [email protected] to cancel your order. After 24 hours, orders will be processed, and the item you purchased will not be canceled.


  • If you have received an item that has been damaged during shipment, please contact CA Modern Home at 800.605.1859 immediately. CA Modern Home has the right to have any item prefessionally repaired.


Refunds are not issued if you measure your space or furniture incorrectly.

  • DO NOT sign for the delivery until you have inspected it and are 100% sure that your furniture is in perfect condition.CA Modern Home will not be held responsible for items after they have been delivered and signed for.  Your signature indicates that you approved of the condition of your shipment upon delivery.


  • If the damage is visible,REJECT THE SHIPMENT.  Be sure the driver notes the damage and contact us as soon as possible. We will file a damage claim with the carrier, pick up the damaged item, and ship a replacement or replacement parts to you.  Replacement lead times are subject to the manufacturer’s availability. 


  • For shipments with visible damage at the time of delivery, PROMPTLY TAKE PHOTOS of the damaged item and the packaging and notify us immediately. DO NOT throw out any packing. Claims for defective or damaged items must be filed within 7 days of customers receipt of delivery. 


  • For shipments with concealed damage at the time of delivery, PROMPTLY TAKE PHOTOS of the damaged item and the packaging and notify us within 24 hours. DO NOT throw out any packing. 


  • For new or preconstructionwhen items will be stored until completion of project. Make sure items are check at the time they are received. If you allow someone else to receive on your behalf they will be representing you. No claims can be filed after 24 hours of being received.


 If you have received a damaged product that can be fixed with replacement parts but choose to return the item rather than accept replacement parts, you will be refunded the amount of your order only.  Any costs associated with shipping the product back to us are the customer’s sole responsibility.


 If your order is wrong, please contact CA Modern Home at 800.605.1859. Please do not send back items before contacting us.


Refusing a shipment for any reason other than freight Damage will not release you from the obligation of paying for your merchandise.

 If you intend to reject your shipment because you changed your mind or you purchased a different product from another vender please be aware your merchandise will stay in storage with the local LTL carrier and accrue their storage fee of up to $100 per day (depending on company) 2 weeks thereafter being disposed of.  None of our venders accept merchandise back merchandise after it has been shipped from their warehouse.

 You do have the option to contest  the charge with your credit card company. This process can take up to four months to complete.  If we are unsuccessful during the credit card charge-back process we will pursue the total amount plus storage and our legal expense in Florida small claims court. You will have the opportunity to defend yourself in Florida small claims court but this would require your presence or presence of your legal counsel. All parties agree that  juristiction is Miami Dade County, Florida. Failure to show up will result in our automatically having the judgment placed in our favor.



You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CA Modern and www.lutact.com and its officers, directors, employees and suppliers, from any claim, demand, action or damage, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made or incurred by any third party arising out of or related to your use of this site.
